Effective Immediately, No More ZipZoomFly.com Links On This Website

As the owner of this website, I frequently use the links to our affiliate sponsors. I, along with many of this site's readers routinely build systems and rely on great businesses to provide both excellent deals and customer service. I have used ZipZoomFly for many years (even when it was called Google Gear). They continue to have excellent customer service, but their value and offerings have not kept pace with what this site's readers expect.

It is important to detail the decision to no longer link to ZipZoomFly. In the past, the pricing was very comparable to most other websites. Almost everything included free shipping. An unfortunate result of the current economy, fuel prices have likely caused the demise of the shipping perk. Perhaps the most compelling reason for our decision to remove links to ZipZoomFly however is the reliance on mail-in rebates. I, along with this site's readers, expect a steady level of ethical behavior from both our retail partners as well as the vendors they choose as business partners. Unfortunately, and this is based on personal experience, many mail-in rebates are too difficult to comply with, are delayed significantly, or denied for reasons that seem unbelievable (like the UPC code was not received). The preceding example is a personal experience. I cut the only UPC code on the product packaging, and taped it as requested to the properly filled out form. It was evidently "lost" and would require the form, as well as the UPC code, be resubmitted. I'm sure you see the problem here.

Until ZipZoomFly and other online retailers reduce their reliance on mail-in rebates to remain competitive, only the most value and customer service oriented online retailers will be welcomed to advertise on this website. So try shopping here:
