So Long CompUSA

Well, they are finally closing. CompUSA is shutting its doors nationwide. See this article.

Here is what it means to us (the good and the bad). First, they will be selling things to the bare walls. This even includes the shelving! The closest two are Little Rock and Tulsa (which were reported to be the two highest grossing stores by an employee). Second, look for a fire sale on everything from PC cases to TVs. I wonder if the Bawls will get cleared out?

The downside, as you can guess, the Bawls source will dry up. Plus, they did have some good parts at fair prices. Now we are stuck with (not necessarily the) Best Buy, and Circuit City. Personally, I wish I had a Circuit City in Benton County as the deals and service (just my opinion) tend to be better.

Well, it is the end of an era. So long to CompUSA.
